Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The Department of Education, The University of Lahore, welcomes you to come forward in participation to our peer reviewed journal …….in different disciplines of education. The journal provides a platform for the publication of the most advanced research in the areas of learning development, progression of instruction, and teaching. This Journal welcomes original empirical investigations. The papers’ may then in represent a variety of theoretical perspectives and different methodological approaches. This may refer to any age level, from infants to mature and to a diversity of learning and instructional settings, from classroom to informal and non-formal learning. This may rest on the full spectrum of established methodologies from experiments to field observations. The major criteria in the review and the selection process concerns the significance of the contribution to the area of learning and instruction.

 2. General Instructions for Author

  • Manuscripts should not exceed 20 pages and must conform to the style of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA 7Edition).
  • Author’s name(s), should be given above abstract with asterisk signs and their affiliations, address/email must be given in footnote (after abstract and keywords) on the same page.
  • An Abstract must comprise 150-200 words.
  • The manuscript should consist of 4000-8000 words including references.
  • The authors are requested to check the article thoroughly with spellings, figures, grammatical errors, illustrations, etc., before submitting for publication. Incomplete articles will not be entertained.
  • The research papers are accepted for publication on the understanding that those have not been published earlier and are nor being considered for publication elsewhere.
  • Research papers/articles should be an original piece, including methodology, contents, data analysis and interpretation.
  • Articles are urged to add something new to the existing stock of knowledge.
  • The maximum number of authors for an article should not exceed be more than three.
  • Authors should be clearly specified as:
    • Main/Corresponding author
    • Co-author, and/or
    • Contributor/Supporting author.
  • Manuscripts will be reviewed by at least three consulting editors/reviewers. This process normally takes 6-12 months.

After approval, the paper will be edited thoroughly. If conditionally approved, the authors will be required to revise the article within a specific time given for the purpose.
