Manuscript Preparation
Manuscript Types
JNHM accepts the following types of manuscripts:
Original Research Articles
Review Articles
Formatting: Manuscripts should be prepared in LaTeX using the JNHM LaTeX template, which can be downloaded from the journal's website. Authors should strictly adhere to the journal's formatting guidelines.
Length: Manuscripts should be of appropriate length, typically not exceeding 25 pages for research articles and reviews. Longer articles may be accepted for comprehensive reviews or special considerations.
Abstract and Keywords: Include a clear and concise abstract (250-300 words) summarizing the main findings and objectives of the paper. Provide a list of keywords that capture the essential concepts covered in the manuscript.
Submission Process
Online Submission: Authors should submit their manuscripts online through the JNHM submission portal. The submission system will guide authors through the submission process.
Cover Letter: Include a cover letter with your submission, briefly explaining the significance of the research and confirming that the manuscript has not been submitted elsewhere.
Manuscript Content
Title: Choose a descriptive yet concise title for your manuscript.
Introduction: Provide a clear and well-structured introduction that outlines the research problem, objectives, and context.
Methodology: Describe the methods, techniques, and mathematical tools used in your research.
Results and Discussion: Present your results logically, supported by appropriate figures, tables, and equations. Discuss the implications and significance of your findings.
Conclusion: Summarize the main contributions of the paper and their broader implications.
References
Citations: Use APA 7 citation style (e.g., use the author's last name and the year of publication).
References: Compile a list of references at the end of the manuscript, following the APA 7 citation guidelines.
Figures and Tables
Figures: Ensure that figures are of high quality and submitted in a suitable format (e.g., TIFF, JPEG, or EPS). Include captions and labels for clarity.
Tables: Format tables neatly, including titles and appropriate headers.
Supplementary Material
Authors may submit supplementary material, such as code, datasets, or additional figures, if they enhance the understanding of the manuscript. Clearly indicate supplementary material in the manuscript.
Ethical Considerations
Authors are expected to adhere to ethical standards in research and publishing, including proper citation and avoiding plagiarism.
Peer Review
All submissions are subject to rigorous peer review by experts in the field.
Copyright and Open Access
Authors should be aware of the journal's copyright and open-access policies, which may vary depending on the publication model.
Contact Information
Provide complete contact information for all authors, including affiliations, email addresses, and ORCID IDs, if available.
Acknowledgements
Acknowledge any funding sources, grants, or individuals who contributed to the research.
