Application of Dorothea Orem Theory of Self Care for Patients

Abstract
A32 years old patient admitted in the ICU ward with the complaint of tubercloma and hepatitis. Patient was on CPAP, paralyzed and not oriented to time, place and person. He was not able to perform self-care activities. He was untidy and very feeble in appearance. Patient was on CPAP (half ventilator). He was paralyzed and was not oriented to time, place and person. His mood and speech were flat and mute. He was not able to perform his daily activities and can't help himself in his care. Patient was bed ridden. Decubitus ulcers were noticed on lower back and Achilles. Nasogastric tube was passed and CVPline was maintained.
